Name, South African cell number, email address, physical collection and delivery addresses, cargo descriptions, order photos, delivery verification OTP PINs, and transaction history.
Full legal name, South African ID number / Passport number, Driver's License copy with valid PrDP endorsement, Vehicle Registration Certificate, Vehicle License Disc details, Proof of Residential Address, bank settlement details, and profile photograph.
Real-time GPS latitude and longitude coordinates collected during active driver shifts and active delivery trips to enable live client tracking, route optimization, safety monitoring, and proof-of-delivery validation.
3. Lawful Grounds & Purpose for Processing
We process your personal information strictly for legitimate operational purposes:
- Facilitating on-demand fleet dispatch and matching senders with nearby drivers;
- Providing live GPS turn-by-turn tracking to senders and recipients;
- Verifying driver legal compliance under South African transport laws (PrDP and roadworthiness);
- Processing payments, driver payouts, and generating tax-compliant VAT invoices;
- Investigating lost or damaged cargo and resolving delivery disputes;
- Complying with statutory reporting requirements to South African law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
4. Information Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We only disclose necessary information to:
- Dispatched Drivers: Senders' pickup address, delivery address, recipient contact name/number, and cargo details are shared strictly to fulfill the delivery.
- Senders / Recipients: Driver's first name, photo, vehicle make, model, registration number, and live GPS location during transit.
- Authorized Service Providers: Regulated payment gateways, SMS OTP providers, and cloud hosting infrastructure subject to strict confidentiality agreements.
5. Data Security & Retention
We maintain robust technical and organizational security measures, including SSL/TLS in-transit encryption, access controls, and firewall configurations to protect against unauthorized access, loss, or manipulation of personal information. Driver KYC documentation is retained securely for the duration of the driver partnership and in accordance with statutory South African accounting and tax record-keeping requirements.
6. Your Data Subject Rights under POPIA
Under POPIA, you have the right to:
- Request confirmation of whether we hold personal information about you;
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of inaccurate, irrelevant, or unlawful personal data;
- Object on reasonable grounds to the processing of your personal information;
